Christmas Day

Matti was up first with no idea of what was to come. She got up at 6:30, but dozzed off and on till Jered came in about 7:30. Gabbi came in shortly after that. Finally at 8:15 Gabbi and Matti went to wake up Tayler. We waited for dad to start the fire and to put the breakfast in the oven. First we opened presents from mom and dad and Santa. We broke for breakfast then opened our stockings. After playing for a while we opened presents from grandparents and cousins. We finally opened all of our presents and of course made off pretty good. For lunch/dinner we had ham, potatoes, and homemade rolls. I think the potatoes were the best ever and I don't normally like potatoes, but when you add bacon to them they are bound to be good. The rest of the day we spent playing with all our new toys. The best part of Christmas is we never got dressed. Because we had no where to go and no one was coming over we decided to stay in our pj's all day. After a while is was time for dessert, homemade pumpkin and apple pies with homemade whipping cream. Again we have enjoyed the leftovers until today, sunday. On friday we played again all day in our pj's. We really had a great time with each other, but really missed our families.
