BaCk To ScHoOl

Well it is back to school. Gabbi and Jered were very excited to start school. I had mixed feelings. All in all we had a good day. Gabbi and Jered wanted to walk on their first day, so we had to get an early start to get there on time. Gabbi started at 8:10, then we came home and took Tayler and Matti to a friends house, then we took Jered (at 9:00) to tour his class room and learn the rules, at 11:00 he was done and we went to pick up the other kids, then back at noon to pick up Gabbi. Busy Day!!! Jered had to go back Wednesday for testing then not back until monday now. Gabbi loves her teacher and her classmates. Wednesday I asked Jered if he missed us, he said "only a little because school was lots of fun". He learned a new song about a bear hunt and is hilarious to listen to. Gabbi has been relearning the rules and working with puppets, which she thinks is "awesome". On wednesday when Gabbi and Jered were both at school I thought that would be a good time to clean the house. Matti layed down for a nap about 9:30 so thats when i got started. At about 9:50 (while i was cleaning the bathroom) Tayler is standing at my side "What is that mom?, What are you doing now? Look at this mom!" I finally had to turn on some cartoons to keep him busy for a few minutes. We will have to find things for Tayler to keep busy or he and I will both go nuts. We are excited for the weekend to sleep in again and Jeremy is off this weekend. But they both can't wait to go back on monday!

Another trip to DENVER

This time we met Kris and Tracy in Denver. Kris had gots tickets for him and Jeremy to goto the Broncos/Cowboys game saturday night. Jeremy was not able to get away from work, but the kids and I were still able to goto meet them. We had a TERRIFIC time. Saturday morning we went to the Denver Aquarium, which was very crowded , but fun.

It rained the entire time we were there, but we did not let that "dampen" our fun. After the aquarium we had to hit the Colorado Mills Mall. Oh what fun we had there too. Well I had fun and the kids didn't complain to much because on our way out they did get to ride the carousel. That night Kris went to the game with his sister and her boyfried. Tracy and I ordered pizza for the kids and took them swimming. Then we put them to bed, not hard to do after you go swimming. Then we were able to look at pictures and talk. Talking, was of course, the best part of the night. We had a great time with each other.
Sunday morning Tracy and her family headed back to Utah. Broc was so cute he starting crying when they were saying goodbye. He kept saying "I don't want to leave YET". We obviously had too much fun. Meeting them in Denver was perfect timing also with school starting monday, Kris was able to give Gabbi and Jered a priesthood blessing before they started school. We are grateful for Kris being able to do that for us. The kids and I left the hotel and decided to stop by the Denver Temple. With as many times as I have been to Denver, I had never seen it. The kids were equally excited and as we drove up they started singing "I love to see the Temple". Of course Tayler sang his own version, but did a great job. The kids just kept saying "It's so pretty" and it was. It had rained the day before so everything looked so clean and fresh and the flowers were gorgeous. We had to take pictures...

Thanks Tracy and Kris for meeting us in Denver. We would love to do it again sometime, its only 4 hours for us!

Family bike ride

The weather was nice and cool this morning, so we decided to go on a bike ride. Gabbi and Jered do really well riding along side us. Tayler rides in the trailor and Matti rides in the child bike seat.

Today we rode over to an elementary school so the kids could play on the playground. We had a great time!

hot summer day

We have been swimming just about every day. The kids love it. Jered now hates to swim with his lifejacket. He is way too cool. Gabbi and Jered could probably enter the olympics this year and win gold medals. The are great swimmers. Tayler is a dare devil. He could enter the olympics if he could wear his life jacket. He would make every spectator laugh. Matti loves the water, mostly to drink. We only take her swimming about twice a week. It is lots of fun.
